In this message, I warn that Donald Trump’s current foreign policy represents a dangerous break from America’s democratic values and strategic commitments. His approach abandons our allies, sows chaos around the world, and enriches a small circle of elites at the expense of American security and the well-being of our citizens.
Trump’s reported demand that Ukraine capitulate to Russia is a corrupt scheme that undermines both U.S. and European security. I want Americans—Democrats and Republicans alike—to make their voices heard. Contact your senators and representatives and tell them that you reject this approach.
This is about more than one policy dispute. It’s about defending our democracy, our principles, and our standing in the world and securing ourselves from aggression from autocrats towards democrats. We cannot allow collusion and corruption to define America’s role in the world or betray our allies who fight for their freedom.
