Slava Ukraini . And a Shanda and a horror and disgrace that the President of the United States (not MY President) has revealed himself to be not just a puppet of the Russian dictator but also a Quisling.

Not my president either! Long live Ukraine, and long may Zelenskyy be their president. I wish he were our president.

I am appalled and ashamed of the U.S. new stance with Russia. In my 75 years I never thought that would happen...until Trump was elected. He is a traitor as far as I'm concerned!

My admiration for Zelensky as he tries to navigate these treacherous waters grows each day, and I hope with every fiber of my being that European nations will recognize their own peril and respond by picking up the slack.

I am also appalled, and in my 76 years, I never thought I would see anything like the Orange Hitler. Remember when as elementary students we practiced hiding under our desks in case the Russians attacked the US? Our desks wouldn’t have protected us then, and nothing seems to be protecting us now.

I feel badly for President Zelenskyy because his favorability is lower than I’d like. Once I got over the fact that he was a comedian, I remembered that most are so much smarter than we think. I have admired his courage, his tenacity and his love of country. If we allow this war to end on the side of Putin, it will be another reason to be an ashamed American. I love my country, but I weep for her.

While his favorability is at 56%, considering the suffering of his people I believe it is still impressive. AND it's 11 points higher that the orange menance's poll numbers.

You’re absolutely right, Ellie. Numbers tend to frustrate me, and I just wished the could have been higher, just like I keep hoping that Trump’s will tank biggly.

Thank you. I was irritated that an NPR newscast today referred to “the third year of Ukraine’s war with Russia” as though the two countries had agreed to go to war. It’s the third year of a vicious invasion by Russia of its democracy-loving neighbor.

And I’m horrified that the man who was apparently elected here (though not by a majority) has decided to side with Russia, to suck up to Vladimir Putin, and to humiliate and try to ruin the reputation of Ukraine’s president, who was elected by a majority of voters. The U.S. is well on our way to be the pariah of the world. We lie, we no longer keep our commitments, and we have caused innocent people to die by callously depriving them of food and medicine we had previously been supplying for years.

🇺🇦💙🕊️🙏 May Ukraine be at peace. Finally. Ukraine has a real President Zelenskyy and he has done much personally. NOT golfing like Trump on taxpayer expense. The United States has brought shame upon us all by siding with Putin and stopping aid to the Ukraine.

Thank you. I wish President Zelenskyy were my President!
