Now the Ukrainians can gradually seize the initiative on the battlefield. The F-16 is arguably the most versatile fighter aircraft in the world. Add the modern battle tanks and fighting vehicles, and you have the makings of a major offensive. It's time to kick the Russians asses. Slava Ukraini!🇺🇦
Thanks for laying out the process for us. I am so relieved this funding has finally passed. I hope our national security and reputation is not irreparably harmed. I also hope that Ukraine can gain an advantage again. I understand that Putin is putting 40% of GDP into building up his military. Do you have any idea of his weapons capability compared to what we will be providing Ukraine? I know Russia is getting weapons from China vis-a-vis parts, and perhaps other other equipment, and from North Korea and Iran.
Glad the Johnson finally saw the light (why?) re Ukraine and the $60b is a good start. Putin is being supplied by Iran, N. Korea and China (somehow). Is it time for a more coordinated NATO plan, more long term, given that this thing won’t be over any time soon. Ukraine’s greatest resource is its people. They deserve more than wondering if, when Western support will dry up.
I read that he was shared some military intelligence that showed the Russians were killing and torturing Christians, especially Baptists, in Ukraine which is what motivated him. Previously, he had been fed Putin propaganda that Ukrainians were killing Christians because the President of Ukraine is Jewish and that Putin had invaded Ukraine to protect Christians and is considered a big supporter or Christianity in Russia.
God’s SPEED to the deployment of these crucial weapons.
And to the Ukrainian people, I want to say I love you all. I love that you are fighting this battle for all the rest of us. I love your strength & will to overcome this war against your democracy and your existence. I love that you still believe in us, America, even though for some ungodly reason the republicans elected tried to help the murderous monster, Putin.
