Tuesday night Vice President Kamala Harris squared off against Donald Trump in the second presidential debate. With just a few weeks left before election day, this debate was one of the last opportunities for either candidate to sway undecided voters and make their case before the American public.

Vice President Harris absolutely knocked it out of the park. In the first debate since President Biden suspended his campaign, Kamala showed us the power of hope and progress against the tired, stale reactionary rhetoric of Donald Trump. While Vice President Harris spoke of making homes more affordable by building three million new housing units and growing the “opportunity economy” for the average American, Trump rambled about infants being executed, migrants eating dogs, and transgender operations in prisons. If it wasn’t obvious already, let this debate be definitive proof that Trump is a useful idiot whom our adversaries will take advantage of - and believe me, having worked with him, he’s been like this for years and he’s going to get worse.
