I appreciate your willingness to pause and reflect, to look within and around you. These are qualities I've admired since I first learned about you and witnessed the fullness of your integrity back in 2019 when you served the country well by your courage and honesty in being truthful to Congress and the American people, and before the world. I will continue to honor your service. And words of honor too, for your wife Rachel who has accompanied you and has served as an inspiration along the way, certainly to me, and I can only imagine to many.
It is inconceivable how you did not win the race. Your qualifications far exceed those of Ms. Nixon. To me, the clear message the election sends us is that many people want change in how our governments operate. However, too many people hear what they want to hear politicians say, and then they are shocked when they cannot afford to live a decent life and their friends are deported to another country. It is time for the country to face reality and see people for what they are. So many politicians in Florida have stolen and lied. They will walk away from office wealthier than they were when they took office. We need to elect people who are true to their words and follow the basic tenants of the foundation of our country - all men and women are created equal, and this is the land of opportunity.

His post is from a good bureaucrat. It glides past our grievances, and fails to offer exciting solutions. Most of the world sucks right now. Alex should name the perps: Russian money, the obsolete MIC, and rich jerks; and say how he can get money out of politics and defeat Russia.
I feel that you are a fine example of what we sorely need: integrity, clarity, compassion, courage. Thank you for all you have done to date, for the many wise choices you continue to make, and for continuing to fight the good fight. We need more leaders of your caliber!
As someone who contributed to your campaign, I am very pleased you are not giving up. I once worked on a campaign, Steny Hoyer for Governor. He lost. I spoke with him afterwards and he seemed somewhat discouraged but didn’t intend to quit. Shortly thereafter, his Congressional District seat unexpectedly came vacant. He ran, won, and over time became a highly effective leader in Congress. So, keep on keepin’ on! Also, as a contributor, I am pleased at what you intend for the remaining funds.
Alex, I am subscribed and will remain so. I cannot understand the FLorida voters at all. You are a true hero and your integrity is sorely needed in the U.S. right now. Whatever you decide to do I support you.
I highly recommend that you run, don't walk, to your nearest book store and glom onto Thom Hartmann's "Who Killed the American Dream?' I have read it three times and learn something new about American history every time. Chief among which are the fraud imposed upon the Supreme Court in 1886. Read "Santa Clara County v. The South Pacific Railroad" in Thom's first three chapters.
It is the biggest legal fraud imposed on the American public 140 years ago. The case is preceded by a casenote written by a cheating court reporter in conjunction with a S. Ct. judge who was on the take and pulled the wool over the eyes of everyone since. It made corporations higher than human beings. Mr. Hartmann found this out about 22 years ago and spent no little time researching the material surrounding the fraudulent proceedings since.
I promise you it will give you a different perspective about what our country's history was all about. For instance, the 14th Amendment was created solely to give slaves freedom, not to give corporations life like we humans with all the attendant rights.
We all need you to advance to the front and take down the oligarchs which have a stranglehold on our country's freedom. Don't give up. Join "Amend" and fight for what you and I fought for in the war.
