Am I the only one thinking, “why does the reality TV show host think that he has the say over what happens to the Ukraine“

And why is everyone else playing along?

“… the last people to speak often shape his decision.” (trump)

So glad the Europeans went there to be seen & heard! They truly have more ‘skin in the game’ than Trump or America, and Trump needed to be called on his Russia-Ukraine fence-sitting.

That a supposedly ‘American’ president needs this EU nudging speaks volumes about his dubious motives for being president at all.

I think pressure enmasse from EU. They came to support President Zelenskyy and were not going to cede to Putin. Had President Zelenskyy traveled alone, ut would have been another ambush.

Alexander, thank you for the information about today’s meeting at the White House with the admirably brave and wise V. Zelensky and the wise and supportive European heads of state. I am thankful to have heard your summary and to know

that they were greeted politely, closer to a way befitting of a leader of our country for a change.

P. S. According to Mary Trump's clip of today's meeting, at least as I understood it to be of today's meeting at the White House, T. again was rude to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, suggesting that V. Zelenskyy could end the war immediately if he wanted. Of course, we know that posdibility is not true, not with any fairness whatsoever to Ukraine, to President Zelenskyy, or to all of the people he represents and cares about. I will watch more of what Mary is showing on her message for this date. If that clip is indeed from today, I was wrong in my message above to think that Trump's behavior was anywhere near more fitting for a leader of our country. To have said that to his guest was wrong and inappropriate, uncaring, unfair, and a totally cruel thoyght toward Ukraine, and the Ukrainian people. I do believe I understood Mary correctly that that was from today, August 18, because of what V. Zelenskyy was wearing, and because of the gold splashed on the fireplace mantle in the background. I could not see a date on the visual, but I do believe I heard Mary correctly. Now I will continue with watching that. I wanted to crack myself here before watching more of her presentation. It is shameful that anyone who supposedly is the leader of our country would be rude and uncaring toward the leader of Ukraine. In turn, by that action to their leader, t is being cruel to all of the people of Ukraine.

Thank you, Alexander for being a clear voice on what is happening in Ukraine. Americans are for Ukraine and we need to get our voice louder and we do need to see an end of the war, but I do think the stealing of the children should be publicized enough to get people, angry and demanding answers.
