Dear Readers,
As a reminder, I will be hosting a Substack Live discussion tomorrow (November 10th) at 4pm EST. The conversation will touch on Eugene Vindman’s race and the direction of the Democratic party. The conversation will only be available to paid subscribers and visible through the Substack mobile app, so be sure to upgrade your membership and download the app beforehand.

As the dust settles from Tuesday’s election, Donald Trump and the Republican Party have begun generating a roster of potential appointees to fill the ranks of the incoming administration. Thus, competent or skilled policy professionals in the Republican sphere may be hesitant to accept a cabinet position, as doing so would either expose them to Trump’s inevitable targeting and persecution or jeopardize their future prospects for political office following Trump’s presidency. There will be no “adults in the room” and anyone selected will be personally loyal to Trump and uphold the vision of America outlined in Project 2025.
