In your estimation, has djt lost interest in helping to end the War of Russian aggression in Ukraine, since he's extorted VZ for mineral rights? Will the US play a role in peace, or will the war be even more protracted and perhaps involve the Baltic region?
Proposed question for this evening's Substack Live:
With respect to the “Victory Europe Day, May 8/9” edition of Why It Matters, can you please offer some context for the U.S. presence at “the Russian Victory Day Parade in 2013” where you represented us, “as an Army Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.” I’ve been curios about the occasion in a historical and U.S. / Russia relational context.
In that issue, I especially appreciate your closing lines: “We don’t need shows of strength, like a military parade, as the most powerful country with the best military on earth. In America we celebrate our Founding Fathers, our heroes like MLK, our fallen, our veterans, and we give thanks.”
I am seeing signs that we are moving towards an Argentine-style Dirty War with the prospects of political opponents being disappeared (tortured and killed). Do you think there is any validity to this?
Given the constant chatter about possible ceasefire in the Ukrainian war with Putin continuing delaying tactics and refusing any concessions, what's the likely scenario in the next few months for the war? With pressure ramping up from European allies, will Trump finally agree to sanctions on Russia?
Does being in the military make it easier to deal with/ the current @POTUS. Admittedly, I am grabbing straws. 😊 Thx for any help. My stamina is waning. Suggestions welcomed❣️☮️

Thank you.
It’s difficult to tell you, you need to know, it’s awful article I read by BBC “Go back to Ukraine’ War refugees complain of abuse in Poland”

Do you also plan to run for a House or Senate seat?
