This regime disgusts me. Wasting our resources, sailors, and military on contrived grievances is horrific and embarrassing. I realize our congress is worth a gum wrapper, but you'd think this aggression would get them off their arse.

🇨🇦🇨🇦 You are an amazing military strategist. It comes from your experience, knowledge and aptitude for preparing for possible conflict anywhere in the world. That doesn’t include US cities against brothers and sisters! I’m horrified about what is unfolding before our eyes. God help us. 🇨🇦🇨🇦

Especially great when the VP says “I don’t give a shit what you call it”.

How I wish we had someone, like you, with integrity, respect, understanding, and a strong strategic mind but we have incompetence.

You nailed it by stating, the opposite of Vance, this isn’t what military personnel or its resources should be directed to do.

Generally speaking, nobody except trained and experienced military minds can understand military planning and how so much depends on the intel and coordination of resources. That leaves a self glorifying Commander in Chief free to grandstand as cleaning up what his followers fear, componded by campaign rhetoric to frame himself as the powerful moral savior. This guy is a show-off first and careful decision maker last. Putin sees it and where is this great warm relationship taking us? Trade a few things, make a deal and the world becomes a cozy brotherhood.

Donny bone spurs thinks he is playing with "toy soldiers". Doesn't care a fig about any of them. That is what a sociopathic narsacisst does.

Thank you, Alex, for elucidating what is right in front of us, and giving a great explanation , plus another reason for why it’s important to reel in this military involvement, which seems to be everything, everywhere, all of the time. It would be great if we would be able to learn from our past so as not to repeat it!

I don’t think these people understand the the first thing about war and military affairs. They’re like the football tyro who thinks that the winner had more will to win.

Football has so much dense complexity that I can barely scratch the surface when watching it live.

War is a great mystery before and during conflict. Grossly misaligning forces and scrambled planning led to the Afghanistan mess.

Thank you for this. The stretching of the word "terrorist" is very like the way the word "traitor" has been stretched. And before that, the way socialist and communist have been pulled out of any intelligible meaning . We aren't quite as far as "War is Peace" though the Dept of War is getting there. But turning words that have a important meaning into basic swear words means we are are talking PAST each other with no actual, much needed discussion of issues critical to our very lives.
