Last night, I delivered a speech at the Cooper Union, a historic venue where Abraham Lincoln once defined the moral stakes of his time. In that same spirit, I spoke about my family’s journey to America, the meaning of the American Dream, and the moral courage required to defend democracy in this time of rising authoritarianism.
Most importantly, I ended with a call to action for all Americans to reclaim our voice in shaping this country’s future. Below is a clip of the final three minutes of my speech:
