It was beyond time! If only Garland had done his job and started investigations into trump and his entire corrupt administration right after taking office. Just think of where America might be today.
I know trump and his minions (including the RFP to all those on the bench from Cannon to SCOTUS) will squawk and try everything to get him out of this but I’m still celebrating that he finally has been told in no uncertain terms that he is not above the law. I’m so thankful for the moral courage of the judge, the jurors, Ms Daniels and all the support staff. (I hope they all have solid security in place.)

Here in America, right matters. But which “right”? I am constantly amazed and incredulous and angry at the “right” nature of SCOTUS who continually prove how wrong they can be. I am tired of Chief Justice Roberts and his lack of courage to square off with Alito and Thomas. But before I get too consumed with the nonsense of SCOTUS and others like Canon, I am as proud as I can be for DA Bragg and 12 ordinary and thoughtful and courageous jurors who embody “here in America, right matters.” It will continue to matter even in the face of a corrupt ex-president felon, congressional clowns, my home state of North Dakota’s embarrassing governor, a gun happy South Dakota governor and a host of Trump followers who just look silly. Against this backdrop of absurdity, is a group of 12, one DA, and court officers who understand that “here in America, right matters.” Right matters. Right matters. Right matters.
