To view these pictures and read your words, it is unfathomable that the possibility of losing our Democracy, and the promise of America, actually exists. It makes me feel sick just to think of it.
I am immensely grateful to those who fought to save freedom, and those who died in it's defense. In every campaign our country has engaged in, it is our veterans who deserve our respect.
I only hope Americans come to the polls with humility in November, and vote to hold onto what those brave men and women fought and died for.
Happy birthday to you, and thank you again for your dedicated service to us and our country.
They truly are The Greatest Generation who sacrificed to fight in WWII, in defence industry factories and/or to look after loved ones in our communities. They also rebuilt the destroyed communities of former enemies. Remarkable!!
A similar commitment is required now with the rising spectre of Fascism. Vote folks!! Our freedom depends upon it.
A very happy birthday to you and thank you for all you have done to protect our democracy and all you will be doing in the future. My great grandparents and family, successful German farmers whose ancestors answered Catherine the Great's invitation to come to farm the fertile lands of Ukraine and bring wealth to Russia, were forced from their lands and lost their lives during the 1917 Russian Revolution. I stand with you in support of Ukraine and thank you for all you are doing for Ukraine, my ancestral country.
"Let us be worthy of their sacrifice." That is our charge. We face the same threat 80 years later. We WILL stop tyranny as did the Greatest Generation. Happy Birthday, Col. Vindman.🎉🇺🇸
I am happy that my friends and family who fought in WWII are not here to see our current situation. I am sad that they didn’t live to see people like you and your wife and brother, who are inspiring us to continue the struggle. Thank you for all you do and inspire us to do.
Happy Birthday 🎂🎉🎁🎈 Alexander and many more. I hope you had a wonderful day with family and friends. Thank you for your sacrifices to Ukraine and to our Nation.
My Hungarian grandmother escaped from a concentration camp during WWII, her Uncle helped her, travelled all the way to America with blackened bread. To this day I occasionally have real dark toast almost black toast with egg/s for breakfast.
Thank you for being here. Stay safe and God bless you and your family.
My Dad was born on June 6, 1924. He would have been 100, and I know he would have enjoyed meeting you. He was in the Navy and stayed stateside during WWII because he could type. He typed a lot of orders including those in D-Day.
