Incredibly ugly. Vladimir Putin must be proud of his Quisling puppet and the degenerates who put this prospectus of a Fourth Reich forward

This is so depressing. I thought our country was better than this. It isn’t the country my dad and uncles fought for.

Just a reminder: It’s not ‘our country’ doing this — it’s Donald Trump & minions.

They are thugs who have hijacked your country & govt. & the world sees that.

So do a large majority of Americans, and it is really up to us to squash this admin. like a bug. We have to change the makeup in Congress to even begin to stop the fuck-up trump and his chief nazi, miller, and those who support this tragic ideology. We now know our mission, if there was ever a doubt before.

This is the Project 2025 chapter on the Department of Defense, exacerbated by Elbridge Colby and JD Vance.

This policy is being formulated by an administration that was elected with a slim majority of a minority of voters and supported by a Congress and Senate barely controlled by members from Red states consisting of approximately one-third of the country’s population while constantly running deficit budgets.

This travesty cannot end soon enough!

I did a close reading on the European Section. The anti-immigrant stance is a drumbeat throughout. The policies are xenophobic, racist, anti-democratic, authoritarian, and kleptocratic. The section on how the EU is undermining democracy is Orwellian. A real "black is white " inversion.

It is Make Europe Great Again (MEGA) on steroids.

I am looking forward to your more detailed take this weekend.

This is one of the biggest threats we are facing that is going to be submerged in the flood of crazy in the news. This document destroys America's credibility as a worlld leader, and shreds what ever soft power we had left.

America was a shining beacon of democracy and hope in the world. Trump has extenguished it.

What I have seen of this "strategy" so far makes me absolutely sick to my stomach and very concerned for the fate of the Free World. Those who have described Trump as a Quisling and a puppet are very much on the mark. I look forward to reading your further analysis later.

My Father a decorated WWII veteran would be furious at this revolting turn of events, I am glad he is not alive to witness them.

Thank you for looking into this & keeping us informed.

I am very angry about all this, and feel so sorry for those undergoing ‘trial & tribulation’ here.

Trump is a thuggish dictator whose financial interests align with similar regimes. He envies bloodthirsty monarchs, he is becoming one himself, in all but official title.

The Good Book warns us that in the time of the end (of mankind’s self-rulership) we will be hearing of “wars and rumors of wars”, but we are not to “be alarmed; these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in one place after another; there will also be food shortages. These are a beginning of pangs of distress.” (Jesus, Mark 13:7 and Matthew 24:6.)

So, Satan is controlling the world for a little while longer, unfortunately. 😪

* Gaza : law-abiding governments do NOT believe in ‘collective punishment’ of innocents.

Many Israelis are protesting or leaving Israel & antisemitism has increased because of it too.

Mr. Vindman, thanks for your quick, detailed break-down of this newest, Trump administration National Security Strategy and its effects. Really hard to read that the U.S. government is stepping away from its memberships in international alliances that has promoted relative peace and prosperity world-wide during the past 80 years.

Mr Vindman, could you look into a conference that was recently held in Budapest, hosted by Viktor Orbán, and with the guest speaker being Professor Mearsheimer from the University of Chicago. It was apparently filled with members of the far right political parties in Europe (like Marine Le Pen, and AfD), all listening to Mearsheimer preach the gospel of super powers dividing the world up into “spheres of influence” in order to achieve “strategic stability”. It sounds a lot like our new National Security Strategy.

Was the NSS influenced by Mearsheimer and his odious political philosophy? It sure sounds like it to me.

And then there’s this, from the BBC:

“New US security strategy aligns with Russia's vision, Moscow says”, 12/7/25

Too many indicators pointing to the 3 Dictators wanting to carve the world into their own spheres of influence. What he, wants to do with the America's could be dubbed the "Donrow" Doctrine. Everything those 3 are planning will put lives in jeopardy and turn the world into a hellhole, making illiberal societies. The scale of these atrocities will truly be something the world has never seen.
