As a former Army officer myself, I am so glad you focused on moral courage as it seems to be lacking so much. Also taking responsibility for what your people do and fail to do. Most of my civilian coworkers don’t understand why I would take responsibility for someone that I am managing.

Excellent speech, sir. I wonder, do college kids these days even know who Joe McCarthy was? One would hope so.

I'm so cynical that I can hear MAGA nodding and agreeing with every word. I sincerely hope those students took your wise words in the same spirit as you Adam, and I wish someone had said those things to me at my commencement.

Wonderful speech. I’m sure many will follow in your footsteps!

What a wonderful speech. It sounds like grads can access it and pull part out as inspiration in the future. Your personal story shows that these are not just words but lived truth. We really need students who have studied and will contribute to an area that our country and the world need so desperately. Thanks for sharing it.

Beautifully done. Truly inspirational as a commencement address should be. And congratulations on the well-deserved honorary degree.

So much courage. And your country let you down. As a fellow veteran, I humbly apologize for the way you were treated.

Hear, hear, Alexander Vindman! As an upstate New Yorker, I wish I could have attended your commencement speech. Maybe you can publish a calendar of public places where you will be speaking. I would be honored to listen to you in person. Your image standing before Congress is seared in my mind.
