For those that have read my first book “Here, Right Matters: An American Story,” you will remember the scene where I planned to propose to Rachel on a trip to the Olympic Peninsula. The way I recall engagement proposal getting derailed was her impatience, knowing I had come back from a trip to New York City with an engagement ring, and repeatedly asking me about it. Note: this woman had special powers and just know things… or can ferret them out like some sort of super spy. Anyway, in the book I say she blew the planned proposal… the truth is I may have also been impatient ;)
